soft pressing after one day of cold macera tion, ageing on the fi rst lees for 8 months, 1/3 in steel tank and 2/3 in wooden barrel Tonneaux.

Sun-drenched south-facing steep slope, sandy loam soil on porphyry in Laitach near Bolzano at 350 m above sea level.
Vinification:
After short maceration, gentle pressing, 100% steel tank and ageing on fine yeast
Characteristics:
Colour: straw to golden yellow
Aroma: rose petals, lychee and orange blossom
Taste: unmistakably full-bodied, spicy and aromatic

Serving:
9-12°C, with shellfish, liver and Asian cuisine (curry), as an aperitif and with dessert.

Vinification:
soft pressing after some hours of cold maceration, fermentation with native yeats in used Tonneaux wood barrels and aging in the same barrel for 12 months on the first lees, further 6 months aging in steel tanks on the fi ne lees and fi nally aging for 6 months in the bottle
